Frencon has successfully completed and handed over the New Endoscopy Unit at Eastbourne District General Hospital for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
The project consisted of the design and construction of a 2 storey building over basement level plant room linked to the exiting live hospital. The works comprised of theatres, consultancy, treatment and recovery rooms being fitted with full medical gases, designed and built to the latest HTM & HBN requirements. The Endoscopy Unit has also achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘very good’.
Facilities include sluice rooms, offices, staff rest rooms, counselling rooms, lifts, disabled toilets and independent wheelchair access. For more information on this project please click here.
